Installation Guide – For a Strong, Long-Lasting Bond For best results, we recommend using DrBoat Repair Glue to attach the cargo points. Follow these steps:
• Inflate your board to 15 PSI. (If you’re repairing a leak in the same area, fully deflate first.) • Clean the surface thoroughly, removing old glue or residue. Use acetone or nail polish remover for best results.
• Apply a thin layer of glue to both surfaces (the cargo point base and the board), but don’t press them together yet.
• Let the glue dry for about 20 minutes, depending on air temperature.
• Apply a second layer of glue to both surfaces.
• Carefully press the surfaces together, starting from the centre and pushing outward to remove air bubbles. Use a hairdryer to warm the area and activate the adhesive.
• Apply firm pressure for at least 5 minutes to ensure a tight bond. • Place a heavy weight on the area for at least 8 hours to allow the glue to fully cure.
